BELUGA

GUIDE

How to enroll and add the learner.

Have at hand

Email of the responsible adult
Your access code
A 4 to 6 digit PIN for the learner
School name and grade (school learners)
Photos or PDFs of the schedule, calendar and books (optional at first)

1
Enter with your access code.
During the pilot the app sits behind a code gate. Each family gets its own, typed once on the first screen.
- Each code is personal: use it for your family.
- Type your email carefully in the next step.
2
Create the family account.
This is the account of the adult who manages learners, permissions and consent.
- Family name.
- Email of the responsible adult, and a password.
- Referral code, only if someone gave you one.
3
Authorize the account.
When the learner is a minor, BELUGA asks for the responsible adult's authorization before activating their space.
- You confirm you manage the account.
- You accept the Terms and the Privacy notice.
- You understand how BELUGA protects captures and study material.

4
Verify your email.
We send you a verification code. Type it on the same screen to activate the account.
- If it does not arrive, check your spam folder.
- You can also ask us to resend it.
5
Add the learner.
Each learner has their own profile, progress and PIN, even when they share the family account.
- Learner name.
- Date of birth, when it applies. It helps decide who answers the diagnostic and protects minors' consent.
- A 4 to 6 digit PIN to open their profile. Keep it somewhere safe.
6
Choose what they want to do with BELUGA.
The mode decides which steps come next. Then you pick the main language and the support language.
- School: school, subjects, schedule and calendar.
- Extracurricular: learn something extra. Languages come first.
- Both: the two live in a single learner.
- College prep: SAT and other exams, with its own plan.
7
Tell BELUGA about their school.
Only for school and both. You can register any school: it stays visible to your family only.
- School, level, grade and terms.
- Books: a photo of each cover and one of the table of contents.
- Schedule and calendar: a photo, a PDF, an .ics file or an .ics link exported from Google Calendar, iCal or Untis.
- If you do not have it at hand, finish and complete it later. The Missing bar in Today reminds you.
- Extracurricular: you say what to learn, your time and level, take a diagnostic and get a plan. College prep goes straight to Today.
Done: start in Today.
Today brings together subjects, notebooks, the calendar and the day's focus. Anything missing shows up as a bar so you can finish it whenever you like.
